1. Turn key to the right.

2. Press Enter key for program mode.

3. Enter 05 (Setup)

4. Enter 00 (the address of the tax rate data)

5. Enter the first two digits of the tax rate that are before the decimal point (for 8.55% enter 08)

6. Enter the second two digits of the tax rate that are after the decimal point (for 8.55 % enter 55)

7. Press Clear key
