TAX CHANGE ON MICROS 2700'S
   1. Mgr sign on OR Mgr key turned clockwise
   
   2. Hold down Shift and press Enter (1-Reports 2-System Configurator)
   
   3. Press 
   2-System Configurator
        1-System
           1-System
             1-Overhead
               3-Tax
                2-Tax Tables

* There are four tax tables that must be programmed *

4. Move your cursor to the Percent field
   MOVING the cursor - (Use “SHIFT-6" OR use the MOVE RIGHT  key)
 
5. Index the new tax rate IE: 7.00 OR 8.00 and Page Down
   TO PAGE DOWN - (Use “SHIFT-3" OR use the PAGE DOWN  key)
  
6. Move cursor to Percent field and index new tax rate and Page Down
  
7. Move cursor to Percent field and index new tax rate and Page Down
  
8. Move cursor to Percent field and index new tax rate and Page Down

After this last page down you will be back at the first tax table. Its
a good idea to page down thru the tax tables to verify that the tax rate is
correct in all four tax tables. So page down four more times and keep an
eye in the top right corner to verify the tax rate is correct. If all is OK than
SAVE YOUR CHANGES. 
TO SAVE CHANGES - (while holding down the SHIFT button,
press the double zero "00" key OR press SAVE CHANGES)
  
9. After saving changes - Press CLEAR once, press 5 (Broadcast),
 press 2 (Yes). After you hear the beeps you can press CLEAR until
 you are out of the database. Press TRANS CANCEL to sign off.
