Although I was not surprised, I would like to share the outstanding service
response Team Howard provided to Carmine's on Friday evening March 15th.
We paged Team Howard for service at 8:30 PM and received an immediate call
back from Joe Howard. Our entire POS system was down and the restaurant was
full. Joe stepped us through several attempts to determine the source of the
problem, it quickly became apparent that an on-site service call was necessary.
Concerned that the source of the problem was still unknown, Joe stated he should
stop at his office on the way to Carmine's for additional parts just to be on
the safe side.
Joe arrived at 9:30 PM and within ten minutes Carmine's was up and running.
Team Howard's reputation for outstanding service is one of the reasons I chose
their company back in 1998. It's been ten years and Team Howard's service is
still outstanding. Just the fact that they still stock parts for a ten year
old POS system is impressive.

When we shopped for our first Point of Sale system, we looked at quite a few
systems and companies, but once we started calling references on Team Howard,
they were the leader. We chose the Digital Dining system because it did what
we needed it to do. When we opened a new location, we chose a different product
and a different company because of price and assurances that they would provide
the same level of service that Team Howard has provided us over the years. WHAT

When my Micros 1370 had a keyboard problem, I called the local Micros dealer.
They sent out a salesman to try to convince me I needed to buy a new system.
They said it was hard getting parts for the older Micros registers, which quite
honestly didn't make any sense, because they get trade-ins all the time. Anyway,
I had heard that Team Howard offered Micros service too, so I called them.
Bob told me they were not an authorized Micros dealer and they didn't offer
support for the 1370 model, because they were not familiar enough with it.
However, Bob offered to call a restaurant in Albany where Team Howard had replaced
a Micros 1370 system and see if they had any parts. THEY DID!! Bob went to
Albany, retrieved the necessary parts and came right to Poalo Lombardi's. He
charged me for the time and travel, but asked that I send a check directly to
the client in Albany for the parts. That's the kind of company I want to work
with. We eventually replaced the 1370's with Micros 2700's, that we purchased
from Team Howard, I am very satisfied with Team Howard and always thank them
for the great service .

Team Howard and Digital Dining has been a large part of our restaurants success.
Digital Dining is very "user friendly" both in the front of the house operations,
as well as, back office management. The system enables us to control and track
inventory, time and attendance of employees, credit card processing, and that
is just a few examples. We are very fortunate to have the customer service
and support Team Howard gives us. If we encounter a problem, we know it will

Howard goes back 15 years. Our first POS system was a Panasonic. The company
that sold it to us went bankrupt and Bob Howard serviced it for us, until we
replaced it with a Micros system. When we replace the Micros system, and put
in Digital Dining, Team Howard will be the company. After 15 years of dependable
support we wouldn't go anywhere else.

We have a Micros 3700 system at Glen Sanders Mansion, but when we opened Angelo's
677 Prime, we chose to switch over to Team Howard and Digital Dining. Team

I first met Bob and Joe at Malt River Brewing in Latham. They were very easy
to work with and did a great job installing the new Digital Dining System.
When I purchased Justins on Lark Street, Team Howard was already providing the
service on the Micros 2700 POS system. I was pleased that I would be working
with them again. We recently upgraded to the Digital Dining system at Justins
and will be installing Digital Dining at both DeJohns and our new location next
door, called Legends Sports Bar. As far as I am concerned, Team Howard is the
best point of sale company out there, and Digital Dining is a great system.

When we purchased our first restaurant in Saratoga they already had a POS system,
so we used it. When we opened a location in Ballston Spa we met with Team Howard
and we liked their expertise and their friendly approach. We purchased a micros
2700 for our new concept from Team Howard and they did a great job installing
the computers and training our staff. Recently, on a Friday night at our location
in Saratoga a touchscreen went down, we called the current service provider
and we were told that they did not have any touchscreens in stock and were unable
to fix our problem. We called Team Howard and they quickly installed a new touchscreen.
Thanks to Team Howard we didn't miss a beat. It's all about support and service.

When I page Team Howard for support, I get a fast and knowledgable response.
That's not what we got from our last service company. At first I thought the
fast response would tail off as time went on but that was 4 years ago and I
still get a fast response when I page for service. If you are looking to buy
a new POS system, do yourself a favor and buy it from Team Howard, based upon
my experience they are the best.

When I told the Micros sales rep that we were buying our Micros system from
Team Howard, they responded by dropping their price 30%. That didn’t cut
ice with me. Team Howard gave us a fair price up front and held firm. I had
a good feeling about Bob Howard and his company. That was four years ago and
we are very pleased. When we have a problem Team Howard takes care of it right
away. It’s easy recommending Team Howard to anybody needing a POS System.

I apparently met Bob in the early eighties when I had Sneaky Pete’s at
Latham Circle. I don’t remember the encounter, but Bob insists that I
escorted him out of Sneaky’s on more than one occasion. That was certainly
a fun period. You Could say we rekindled our relationship when I opened up Nick’s
Sneaky Pete’s in Saratoga Springs in 1998. One of our partners owned a
Posi-Touch system so we installed it at the new Sneaky’s. We called upon
Team Howard for service. Team Howard told us up front that they were not a Posi
dealer and would struggle to provide what they described as acceptable level
of service by Team Howard’s Standards. Team Howard responded every time
we called. In 2001 we moved Sneaky Pete’s into the OTB complex on Central
Ave in Albany. We scuttled the Posi Touch System and installed nine Micros 2700
terminals. Our business hours are not typical. We don’t open until 9PM
and stay open late, but every time we’ve called Team Howard’s service
pager we get an instant response. Their support has been great and I highly
recommend Team Howard

Bob installed a Panasonic system in our restaurant in the late
80's. This was my first encounter working with Bob and he hadn't started his
own company yet. Bob was easy to work with and he knew his product. When Panasonic
died, we purchased a Micros system from the Micros dealer that Bob was working
for. Once again Bob installed our POS system and once again his product knowledge
was great. When Bob left the Micros dealer in 95, we immediately switched our
service over to Team Howard. When I opened up the Cabernet Café I purchased
the Digital Dining system over all the others because I know that Team Howard
is behind it. Joe Howard’s product knowledge on the Digital Dining system
is also very impressive.

We had our old POS system on a yearly maintenance contract. Six months into
the contract their service tech told me they had no parts to repair my kitchen
printer which had broken. He said we should look into a new system. I told the
service tech to ask his boss, ‘Why they had cashed my maintenance check
if they didn’t have the parts to fix my system?’ I took his advice
and looked into a new system and haven’t looked back. I find it easy to
recommend Team Howard. They are responsive, knowledgeable and I am glad to see
them grow.

I started using the Digital Dining POS System at Angelo’s
677 Prime last year, and have been completely impressed by it. It’s very
easy to use, understand and manipulate to my restaurants needs. I have literally
bragged about it to other people in this industry, because I have such high
regard for Digital Dining. Each morning I quickly run all reports I need from
the previous days transactions. I have modified these daily reports several
times, based on what I need to record and have removed some summaries I found
I don’t need to have on a daily basis. However, the information is still
available to quickly retrieve, if necessary. I run weekly and monthly reports,
comparisons and analysis easily. It truly is a tremendous product and a very
important tool to the growth and efficiency of Angelo’s 677 Prime.
The few times that I needed assistance, my calls to Team Howard were answered
pleasantly, quickly and with great knowledge. Having worked with them at another
Mazzone Management establishment and knowing their strong background in this
industry, I have complete faith in their abilities to make suggestions or answer
any troubleshooting questions I may have. I have no reservations about recommending
Team Howard and Digital Dining.

Our Micros 4700 was installed in 1986. The local Micros dealer stopped supporting
it back in 2000. The previous owner called Team Howard for service, and they
serviced it until 2005, when I replaced it with the Micros 2700, that we purchased
from Team Howard. Team Howard is very responsive when we call for support and
recommend them to anyone looking for a POS System.
